What is Developmental Therapy?

Developmental therapists (DTs) can be considered early teachers for your child. DTs assess your child in a variety of areas to identify areas of need and areas of strength. They develop play activities designed to help your child overcome challenges and improve the quality of their interactions through play.

DTs work with every member of your child’s team, especially the parents, to build learning strategies into the child’s daily life.
